In 79 years of life, 64 years dedicated to the Field of Good Will, Paiva Netto faced many struggles and victories “in favor of a better world and a happier Humanity” and here is just a summary to remember his great accomplishments.

A life dedicated to the practice of Good

Born on March 2, 1941, in Rio de Janeiro/RJ, Brazil, Paiva Netto knew the Legion of Good Will throughout a pamphlet published by the LGW. When he was 15, he integrated himself into the legionnaires' activities.

Because of his devotion to this Ideal of Good and his fidelity and friendship towards the late founder of the Institution, Alziro Zarur (1914-1979), he became the Secretary-General of the Legion of Good Will for almost a quarter of a century. In 1979, with the passing of Alziro Zarur to the Spiritual World, he inherited his place as head of the Organization, providing extraordinary impetus to the promoted actions, material and spiritual, in favor of the people.

In his entire list of realizations we can name countless schools and early Learning centers of the Institution that were expanded and inaugurated in Brazil and abroad; the Good Will Ecumenical Complex, in Brasília/DF, Brazil, idealized and built by him; the consolidation of the Good Will Network which includes radio and TV stations, ever-expanding; the creation of the Pedagogy of Affection and the Ecumenical Citizen Pedagogy, an educational proposal successfully applied in the LGW’s schools; over 8 million books were sold and hundreds of articles published in newspapers, magazines, and websites, spreading the Ecumenical Doctrine of the Religion of the Third Millennium; the conquest of leading force at the United Nations (UN); the GoodWill.com website, in many languages; and much more. All of this is a fruit of Accomplishing Faith of many people but, mostly, the decision, obstinacy, and perseverance of Brother Paiva.

Under his leadership the whole material structure gave visibility to the internationalization of the Good Will Institutions that reached several Latin America’s countries, the United States of America, and Portugal. This structure was the foundation for continuing the Good Will institution’s expansion in every field of the spiritual, human, and social fields of the Organization. Through the educational and community centers of the Legion of Good Will, countless children, young people, and adults get the necessary support; and at the public meetings and several fraternal activities promoted by the Religion of Universal Love, they find the necessary  medicine for their Soul.
